  • Relatively simple W2 client with itemized deductions: Based on being a W2 client, did not 'really' need the tax assistance plan. However, their employer did not report their W2 withholdings to the Franchise Tax Board. The client received a notice from the Franchise Tax Board demanding additional money. The client purchased the plan, so we were able to call the FTB on the client's behalf to resolve the issue.

  • Clients made an electronic payment to the IRS and have proof of payment clearing their account, but they received an IRS notice saying they still owed. The client purchased the plan so we were able to call the IRS and resolve the issue.

  • The client didn't provide some income documents to us, and they received a CP2000 for underreported income. The client purchased the plan, so we responded to the notice and resolved the issue.

  • The client's spouse made the IRS payment under their SSN instead of the primary spouse's SSN. IRS records don't recognize the payment, so they received a demand for the balance due. The client purchased the plan, so we were able to call and resolve the issue.

  • You have a life event that may create a taxable event, so you call us to ensure you are on the right track.
